Indian Pacer Mukesh Kumar Welcomes Baby Boy With Wife Divya Singh

Indian fast bowler Mukesh Kumar and his wife Divya Singh have been blessed with a baby boy, marking a joyous new beginning in their personal lives. The cricketer shared the heartwarming news with fans on Friday, June 27, through a touching Instagram post, expressing gratitude and love.

In his announcement, Mukesh Kumar wrote, “Together in love, now together in parenthood with our baby boy in our arms. Love & gratitude, Mukesh and Divya.” The message was accompanied by a warm family photograph, signaling the couple’s entry into a new and cherished phase of life.

The 31-year-old speedster, who hails from Gopalganj, Bihar, had tied the knot with Divya Singh in November 2023 in a traditional ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. While Mukesh currently finds himself out of India’s squad for the ongoing England tour, his attention has turned to what he calls “the most important debut of his life”—fatherhood.

Soon after the announcement, messages of congratulations started pouring in from the cricketing fraternity. India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav led the wishes with his trademark enthusiasm, commenting, “Badhaiiii ho Mukesh bhaiiiiiiyaaa!”

Former India spinner Pragyan Ojha wrote, “Congratulations! God bless you,” while Mohit Sharma, a fellow pacer, added, “Bohot bohot mubarak mere bhai.” Navdeep Saini, another fast bowler from the Indian camp, kept it simple with, “Congratulations bhai.”

Mukesh Kumar’s journey has been an inspiring one. From humble beginnings in Bihar to donning the Indian jersey, the Bengal-based bowler has become a symbol of perseverance and determination. Though he is currently not part of the national setup, fans and teammates alike continue to celebrate his achievements, both on and off the field.

As Mukesh embarks on this new personal journey, his supporters eagerly await his return to competitive cricket, now with even more inspiration in his life. For now, it’s time for lullabies instead of loud appeals, bottles instead of bouncers, and tiny footsteps instead of fast bowling run-ups.
