Cricketer Virat Kohli stole the spotlight not just with his stellar performance on the field but also with a heartwarming video call to his family after a victorious IPL match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Scoring an impressive 77 off 49 balls, Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore to victory against Punjab Kings. Following the match, Kohli was captured on camera engaging in a video call with his family, including his actor wife Anushka Sharma, and their children, daughter Vamika and son Akaay.
In the video, Kohli was seen blowing kisses and gesturing his need to return to his team, but he continued chatting with his family for another minute from the field. The cricketer’s interactions included laughter, conversation, playful gestures, and funny faces, presumably aimed at his newborn son Akaay.
Navjot Singh Sidhu remarked, “I feel he is looking at his little one and he is very happy.” Additionally, a commentator noted, “The match is over, and daddy duty begins. He is daddy cool.”
Kohli’s display of family love and commitment beyond the cricket ground garnered widespread admiration, showcasing the importance of family time, even amidst the pressures of professional sports.
