In a video shared by Punjab Kings on Instagram, the two cricketers recreated the thrill of a Super Over inside a narrow passageway of Iyer’s residence. Shreyas needed 12 runs to win from Shashank’s bowling. What followed was a cheeky yet competitive showdown that highlighted both the friendly chemistry and intensity between the two teammates.
Before the over began, Shashank amusingly informed his captain of the field placements—though fielders existed only in imagination due to the confined space. Shreyas responded by setting a rule that wide yorkers were off-limits, possibly due to the restricted dimensions of the corridor. The game began with Iyer smashing two boundaries off Shashank, prompting the bowler to turn up the heat with quicker deliveries.
