Following her victory, Townsend delivered an emotional post-match speech, reflecting on her journey with pride. She dedicated the triumph to her coach, acknowledging their hard work together, and to her son, Adyn Aubrey, whom she described as her greatest inspiration.
“This feels incredible. Welcome to the show—that’s all I can say. I’ve put in so much hard work and I want to dedicate this win to my coach; we’ve shared blood, sweat, and tears. I also dedicate it to my son AJ, who proudly told his teachers he’s coming to New York to watch me. That makes this moment even more special,” Townsend said.
