Speaking candidly on a podcast, Dhawan clarified that the post wasn’t driven by pain but by a genuine desire to convey love and positivity. “I am an emotional guy, and I was just trying to send love to him,” Dhawan explained. He acknowledged the potential impact of negative energy and expressed hope that, in the era of technology, his son might stumble upon and read his heartfelt message.

Dhawan expressed, “Wherever he is, I hope he finds happiness; with optimism, one day, he might visit me. My love for him is profound, yet I maintain a sense of detachment. The cricketer revealed that he writes messages to his son every day, even though he is unsure whether they are being received or read.
