Team India’s dynamic batsman, Suryakumar Yadav, faced a setback as he was ruled out of the IND vs AFG T20I series due to a sports hernia. Despite being assigned the captaincy for the T20 series during India’s South Africa tour, Suryakumar’s unfortunate injury forced him to miss subsequent T20 engagements, including the series against Afghanistan.
The talented batter underwent a successful surgery in Munich, Germany, marking a crucial step in his recovery journey. Suryakumar expressed gratitude for the support and well wishes he received, assuring fans that he would be back in action very soon. He also shared his optimism about returning to the field for the IPL 2024 season, provided his recovery progresses as expected.
“Surgery done. I want to thank everyone for their concerns and well wishes for my health, and I am happy to tell you all that I will be back very soon,” Suryakumar posted on X (formerly Twitter). Fans can now eagerly anticipate witnessing his stellar performances once again when he makes his comeback.
