Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the recent “One World One Family Cup” organized by the “Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission.” In a heartfelt tweet, he expressed how the last couple of days had been special, emphasizing the strengthening of both friendships and causes when friends unite for a noble purpose.
While celebrating the success of the winning team, Tendulkar highlighted the significance of both teams contributing to a larger purpose. He extended his best wishes to the organizers of the event and commended the well-organized “One World One Family Cup.”
Despite the joy of being part of the charity game, Tendulkar regretfully missed the thrilling INDvAFG T20 clash and Rohit Sharma’s remarkable century. Nevertheless, he congratulated Team India for their impressive 3-0 series sweep.
In the charity game, Tendulkar, leading the One World team, opened the batting alongside Naman Ojha in a run-chase of 181. The opposing One Family side, captained by Yuvraj Singh, had set a competitive total of 180-6, with notable contributions from Darren Maddy, Yusuf Pathan, and Yuvraj himself.
The clash between the two legends, Tendulkar and Yuvraj, in a brief battle during the charity game ended with a single legal delivery favoring the Sri Lankan great. The match showcased the spirit of camaraderie and competition, reinforcing the shared goal of supporting a charitable cause.
