In a recent promotional event ahead of the IPL 2024 clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT), Team India stalwart Virat Kohli gave a funny response to a query about his favorite guilty pleasure snack.
Kohli, who is currently in Bengaluru with the RCB contingent preparing for the upcoming match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, was asked about his go-to snack after a game. With his trademark wit, Kohli quipped, “Match ke baad kuch guilty nahi hai, dabaake kha sakte hai.” (There is no guilt after the match, you can eat freely).
The star cricketer went on to explain the difference in dietary freedom between bowlers and batters, highlighting the constraints faced by bowlers due to their overs quota. “However, the batters might get out on the first ball itself so we can think about it, but bowlers have to run,” Kohli added, eliciting laughter from the audience.
As RCB gears up to take on GT, Kohli’s light-hearted banter adds a touch of humor to the pre-match excitement, leaving fans eagerly anticipating both his performance on the field and his post-match snack choices.
