In a captivating display of cricket, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) clinched a formidable 6-wicket victory against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), chasing down a target of 184 with balls to spare. The night at the stadium was lit by Jos Buttler’s masterful unbeaten century and Sanju Samson’s vigorous 69, which crafted a match-winning partnership that left the Bengaluru crowd in awe.
After winning the toss and opting to field first, RR saw the RCB openers, especially Virat Kohli, unleash a storm on the field. Finding his rhythm back, Kohli dazzled the audience with a splendid century, marking a significant return to form. His 125-run stand with Faf Du Plessis laid a solid foundation for RCB, steering them to a competitive total of 183. The partnership hinted at a challenging chase for the Royals, but the outcome was to unfold differently.
The chase began on a shaky note for the Royals, with Yashasvi Jaiswal departing early.
