Sunrisers Hyderabad have bolstered their squad for the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) by signing promising Sri Lankan leg-spinner Vijayakanth Viyaskanth. The 22-year-old cricketer, who has previously represented Sri Lanka in one T20I match, joins the Sunrisers as a like-for-like replacement for the injured Wanindu Hasaranga.
Vijayakanth Viyaskanth’s addition to the Sunrisers’ roster comes as a strategic move to maintain the team’s balance and strengthen their spin bowling department. He enters the IPL arena with an impressive track record and is expected to make significant contributions to the team’s performance.
