Bairstow didn’t stop there; he followed it up by punishing a short delivery from the same bowler towards the same region, adding another six to his tally and further amplifying the excitement among the spectators.
The 12th over witnessed a flurry of boundaries as Rilee Rossouw joined the six-hitting party, sending one soaring over deep mid-wicket for a maximum, contributing to the high-octane action. In just one over, the Punjab Kings amassed a staggering 24 runs, setting the stage for a thrilling finish to the match.
The remarkable batting display from Bairstow and his fellow Punjab Kings batsmen proved to be pivotal as they successfully chased down a mammoth target of 262 runs against the Knight Riders. With eight deliveries to spare, Punjab Kings emerged victorious in a breathtaking encounter, showcasing the electrifying essence of T20 cricket at its finest.
