Delhi Metro Extends Timings for IPL Matches at Arun Jaitley Stadium

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced its decision to extend the last train timings on all lines for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) matches at Arun Jaitley Stadium. The move aims to facilitate smooth travel for spectators attending matches scheduled for Wednesday (April 24), May 7, and May 14.

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the DMRC confirmed the extension of metro timings to accommodate the influx of cricket enthusiasts expected to throng the stadium during these matches.

Additionally, the Delhi Police has issued an advisory ahead of the match between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans, slated for Wednesday evening from 7 pm to 11:30 pm. The advisory outlines diversions and restrictions that will be implemented on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (BSZ Marg) and Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (JLN Marg) to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.

Commuters are advised to steer clear of BSZ Marg from Delhi Gate to ITO Chowk and JLN Marg from Rajghat to Delhi Gate during the specified time window of 5 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday. These precautions are aimed at minimizing congestion and inconvenience for commuters navigating the affected routes during match hours.

The concerted efforts of the DMRC and Delhi Police aim to streamline transportation logistics and enhance the overall experience for cricket fans attending IPL matches at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
